Not bad. Very slow Tues night, pretty much had the place to myself. Had a spicy chicken burrito - good flavor, not really spicy but also not greasy. Lots of veggies. Look like they do a good take out business - I'll probably be back.

I have fond memories of Nino Taco. I've been enjoying their food since I was little. I used to go to the locations in Randallstown and Arbutus before they closed. I'm glad this location is here. I highly recommend the Mexican Pizza. It is nothing like the kind found at Taco Bell. This is hundreds of times better and different. I pour hot sauce on it and even dip it in sour cream. The churros are also nice if they're done correctly by not over frying.

Terrible. Everything is made using ingredients from bulk cans of low-grade food supplied by Sysco. I recognize the pizza sauce cans from my college days. Refried beans, nacho "cheese" sauce, jalapeños, tomato sauce, etc. all from bargain basement industrial food cans. I know this because they are clearly visible behind the counter and because the processed, industrial food was disgusting. The server was nice enough, but the food was so bad, I'd never eat there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You'd be better off getting food at Royal Farms.

Holy canned food batman!!!! This was my first time coming to Nino Taco and it will be my last. As a vegan, the food has to be very good because it can't hide behind meat and cheese. And the food here just wasn't good. The salsa was very very spicy, but not flavorful at all. And it had this floating oil in it that I found weird. The beans were obviously from a can with no attempt made to jazz up the beans at all. They were straight from the can. At least they were heated. And the rice was this mushy strange mess of dried looking veggies and over cooked rice. It was spicy but needed salt. It was just a hot mess. The other problem is that there is no children's menu so my small child was brought a massive fruit punch that filled her up! So she didn't eat most of the canned crap we were served. Good: the server I had was very nice Bad: empty tables were dirty, food came out of a can and was obviously microwaved, massive drinks for kids Ugly: spicy yet bland food, dirty floors

Me and a few of my friends at work placed a takeout order for lunch. We used to order from here all the time, but this was our first order in a while. The service seemed pretty ok when we went to pickup our order. However, there was nothing ok when we got back to the office and started eating. My bean burrito was the most bland I've ever eaten, there was no seasoning and no salt, not even on the chips that I ordered. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

Well had 2 reviews by people I know about this place, one good and one bad. I wish I had listened to the one with the bad review. I got a 3 taco platter, while the tacos looked good they had an odd flavor to them and I could only eat one. The refried beans I think were just placed in the microwave once I ordered and I have seen dogfood that looked more appealing. The Mexican rice was room temperature at best. After eating the one tacos and a couple forkfuls of the rice and beans I threw the stuff away.

What has happened to fast food? I was in the mood for some Mile High Nachos from Nino Taco located in Owings Mills what a disappointment. Not only did I pay $9.97 for the small portion the presentation was horrible. I remember the small being about $6.00 and could feed three people. Sitting here mad!

Niño niño niño. I like this place, but I just don't "like like" this place. I'm not slipping it a wadded up note in class to check yes or no. I always leave stuffed. And I always like the way my food tastes. So what's wrong? It feels like someone just made me an old El Paso dinner kit with some ground beef they got at the grocery store and slapped it on a precariously bulging styrofoam plate. The nachos and cheese are from the big tub of yellow melty cheese that is probably one molecule away from plastic. Not saying I don't eat every last drop and come back for more though! Just saying it's nothing special. They do seem to add some Italian seasoning to their dishes, and sometimes that's an interesting twist. The waiter is nice and friendly. The place seems to draw a decent lunch crowd. The prices aren't bad. But I could serve you the same (on a nicer plate) at home.

If you want better food/service just go to Taco Bell.. Awful, rude, poor staff and management. Spend the whole 2nd quarter of the Ravens game in the bathroom. We ordered the Mile High for carry out.. tiny portions unless you pay $14 for the Jumbo.. which isn't all that Jumbo. And they forgot the Tomato sauce.. a main ingredient. I've been going to Nino Taco forever.. well before they moved to Owings Mills. It's unfortunate that the restaurant has decided to drastically cut portion sizes, quality & service.

I went there this evening. The food was horrible and over priced. I should of went to Taco Bell. If you can....stay away.

Shouldn't have to ask for the employees to wear gloves while digging their hands in all the ingredients ... And then they forget part of the order . REALLY!?!?! Not the first time this has been an issue but def the last . As dirty as this place is there's no need to go back .

I've been eating at nino taco for over 15 years. I still remember the old location on liberty road. The food has been consistently great throughout all these years. I always get the tostada combo 1/2 size and baked nachos. This is not an authentic Mexican Restaurant by any means, but it is very good and addicting!! The Mexican pizza is great as well.

Awesome food!! The portions are insanely huge. My husband and I got the Nachos for two, it could've easily been for three people or almost four. Great service, all around a good place to eat!

If I could give zero amount stars I would. This was our first time at Niño Taco. My fiancé ordered the Burrito Salad with chicken. I ordered the cheese quesadilla combo that came with refried beans and Mexican rice. The food was absolutely DISGUSTING. Our food was cold, the cheese wasn't melted, and it tasted like it was old canned refried beans and boxed "Mexican Rice". You can taste the oil they use in the food. It's gross. The cheese quesadilla should be called "Cheese Fake-adilla". It was soooo greasy, the cheese wasn't melted, tasted old and the quesadilla was soggy from the grease. We pretty much wasted $20.00 After THE FIRST BITE we were nauseated an threw it out. For two people $20.00 is a cheap meal I wasn't expecting a grandiose meal with bells and whistles, I get it! But I don't think my food should taste like 7 day old leftovers.

I've been going to Nino Taco since the original restaurant on Liberty Road. Friendly, inexpensive, and delicious. It's fast food Tex Mex so don't expect authentic anything, but it's all good (if similar). Bonus tip: don't eat all the nacho chips before they bring your meal or you'll never finish.

Floors were disgusting as they were stickier even than a movie theatre. I don't think they ever use a mop to cleanup. Hands down the WORST food I have EVER HAD! I actually was debating on vomitting after I ate the chicken fajita burrito I bought. I don't know what part of the chicken I ate. It was the only burrito I have ever had that had mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar or pepperjack. The green peppers were not cooked and the onions were either pickled or gone bad, but definitely not fried as listed in the menu. The sauce tasted like a can of tomato sauce with absolutely no spices added. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I ate a bag of popcorn after to stabilize my stomach. I agree with everyone who said Taco Bell is WAY better than this restaurant. I have a cast iron stomach according to my friends and even I was tested to the max eating here. I strongly recommend either starving or going someplace else like mcdonald's or taco bell instead of eating here.

Nino Taco was a neighborhood institution for years in Randallstown before moving to Arbutus then again to Owings Mills. They have a loyal following and I can understand why. The portions are enormous and prices are reasonable. Food is very good, especially the Mexican Pizza (which we always order as an appetizer to share, even though it's listed as an entree) and the Meat Sombrero. Note: the beef here is standard ground beef taco meat, no fancy carne asada or barbacoa style. Atmosphere is seat-yourself casual and food is served on paper/styrofoam plates. My kids love this place, and I like it very much but it's not on my top 3 list of favorite Mexican restaurants. I still eat there fairly often, though.

Nino Taco is an institution in the Randallstown/Owings Mills area. It is not your run of the mill Tex Mex or canned Mexican food place. Each dish is make with care. It is very child friendly and casual. The portions are large and the food is fresh. I have been eating at this place since I was a little kid (25+ years). It is the kind of place where the staff knows what you will order even before you do. I highly recommend this place!

Honestly Taco Bell is better. I ordered nachos and they used cheese whiz and it was cold.

Nothing fancy but some very tasty options! Fresh ingredients and nice staff. Inexpensive and definitely satisfied my Mexican food craving. Will be back!

You would be better off picking up taco seasoning from Safeway and making your own burrito's. I guarantee they will taste better than Nino Taco! The burrito's are absolutely DISGUSTING!! I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! disgusting.....

One of the worst meals ever. My taco salad was a mélange of bagged shredded lettuce, bagged shredded cheese mix, unseasoned ground beef, and a pile of canned red sauce on a styrofoam plate. The lowest of the low when it comes to Tex-Mex. I'd rather go to Taco Bell, and I hate Taco Bell. I wish I could be more descriptive but sometimes "gross" just says it all.

Worst fake Mexican ever. Even Taco Bell is better; a sentence I never thought I'd write.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but I only ever get one thing, so maybe I haven't had a chance to be disappointed? I get the bean enchilada, spicy, and typically call in my order first. I've never had to wait long, and usually leave to pick my food up right after calling, so it is typically ready in 10-15 minutes. The enchilada is very good, though it is clearly not 'authentic.' Nobody has ever been rude to me, either.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
